I Classici. “The classics” are the traditional Sicilian biscuits known as “ nun’s biscuits” or “S biscuits”or “tricotti”, made according to the ancient recipe, only with extra virgin olive oil. They not contain milk, eggs and chemical yeast, for this reason they are more digestible; as a consequence in the past they were considered appropriated for all ages: from childhood to elders that preferred them addicted to wine or Marsala. Their form of “big breadstick” fully expresses their being a link between a simple biscuit, slightly sweet, and the “special bread” that, in the country tradition, was prepared to brighten the holidays.
